Hairpin Lindy Turn

In this Lindy Turn variant, the follower doesn't actually travel around the leader. The follower travels along a similar path to a Lindy Turn, but in this move the leader steps back out of the way.

Because the leader is not within the path of the loop, the hand connection between the dancers prevents the follower from finishing the loop in the same way as a Lindy Turn. Instead, the leader is forced to lead an anticlockwise turn for the follower as she moves away from him.
